Rotary Club of Oakland MD

The Club meets on Thursdays at 12:00 in the American Legion Bldg. at 423 Memorial Drive Oakland, Md The Oakland Rotary Club is a service organization known best for the French fries sold at various events around the Garrett County. Last year those sales provided more than $45,000 in donations to 20 Garrett County charities. Additionally. Rotarians maintain Rotary Park in Oakland, provide dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Garrett County, conducts the Christmas Tree project receiving donations and delivering presents for Garrett County children in need and awards scholarships to two Garrett County High School seniors each year.
