Overview

Mission

The mission of the Marine Corps League Garrett County Detachment 1234 are as follows:

  • Promote camaraderie and fellowship among it’s members in preserving the traditions and interests of the United States Marine Corps.
  • Voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Navy Chaplains and former Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Navy Chaplains and to their widows and orphans.
  • Perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
  • Provide support to the following organizations; Toys for Tots, MARSOC, Operation Second Chance, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Young Marines, and Team River Runner.
