Friendsville Community Park consists of ball fields, playground, pavillions, tennis courts, volleyball court and river access.

Grantsville Town Park consists of children’s playground, picnic pavilions, basketball and tennis courts.

Glade Town Park consists of walking trail, picnic pavilion, basketball court, pond.

Accident Town Park East consists of a large playground, 1/4 mile walking trail, small pavilion, tennis court, baseball field and a horseshoe pitching area. Accident Town Park West consists of one large pavilion with fireplace and two smaller pavilions, small playground, volleyball court.

Broadford Lake is used as a source of domestic water for the town of Oakland, MD.
